CA-GoodHome installs customer-supplied dartboards and compatible cabinets or surrounds in California. The board type, mounting surface and available throwing area establish the layout. Send the product instructions and a wide photo of the proposed wall and floor space.

Plan the complete playing area before choosing a mounting point. A wall with enough room for the board may still face a doorway or busy walking route. Special wall reinforcement, room construction and electronic-board repair are separate from the installation scope.

Dartboard Installation

The installation request should identify the board, its mounting plate and any additional cabinet or surround. These parts affect both the attachment and the finished layout. Include a supplied scoreboard or other accessory if it is to be installed too. The model instructions provide the starting point; a photograph of a similar board does not establish the correct brackets, measurements or wall requirements.

Choosing the Wall and Throwing Area

Choose an area where the throwing path and space around it can remain clear during play. Consider opening doors, passing people, furniture and nearby fragile objects before settling on a wall. Show the whole room arrangement in photographs, not only the empty patch where the board would hang. Backing protection and surrounds also need enough space, but they do not make an unsuitable throwing area suitable.

Mounting Surface and Hardware

Identify the wall material and any known supporting construction, damage or previous mounting holes. The bracket and fasteners must suit the complete board or cabinet and the verified surface. A hardware pack supplied with a board may not be appropriate for every wall. Concealed utilities and uncertain support should be resolved before drilling. Reinforcement or repair needed to create a suitable mounting location is a separate prerequisite.

Board Height and Throw-Line Planning

Use the requirements for the particular board type and intended game setup when planning the height and throw line. Measure from the reference points specified in those instructions, rather than assuming the wall surface and board face are the same plane. Cabinet depth and the finished floor can affect the layout. Agree how the throwing position will be marked without assuming permanent floor alterations are included.

Cabinets, Surrounds and Score Accessories

A compatible surround fits around the board, while a cabinet may add doors and its own wall attachment. Include the dimensions with doors open and identify separate score accessories on the order. Their positions should remain usable without intruding into the throwing path. A surround is not structural wall reinforcement, and an accessory that requires power or a separate bracket needs to be identified before installation.

Electronic Dartboard Boundaries

For an electronic board, share the specified power source and the position of an existing suitable outlet where needed. Supplied plug-in connections differ from new electrical work or repair of scoring electronics. App or connected-device tasks need separate review through smart home device installation where applicable; that does not extend dartboard mounting to electronics diagnosis or unsupported software setup.

Related Game-Room Services

Tables and arcade cabinets in the same room belong under arcade and game table assembly, with their playing clearances considered alongside the throwing area. A separate screen or speaker attachment belongs under TV and soundbar mounting. For other supplied kits, use assembly and installation services to identify the additional task rather than assuming every game-room item is part of board mounting.

Frequently Asked Questions

What wall information should I provide?

Share the wall material and any known supporting construction, plus photos of the proposed mounting area and nearby outlets or obstructions. Include the board or cabinet model and mounting instructions. Say when the construction is unknown.

Can a cabinet/surround be installed too?

Yes, compatible supplied cabinets and surrounds can be included in the request. Send their model details and identify scoreboards or other accessories separately. Cabinet doors and additional attachments change the space and mounting needs.

Does this include an electronic board power setup?

Describe the board’s supplied power arrangement and available outlet. Model-instructed plug-in setup can be reviewed with the installation, but new outlets, wiring changes, electronic repair and app configuration are not automatically included.

How much clear room is needed?

Plan the throwing area from the board type and its instructions. Share the wall width, ceiling height, available floor length and any doorways or furniture in the throwing path. The board, cabinet or surround and throw-line position must fit that space; required clearances depend on the board, cabinet and room layout.
